Wow, it's been over a month since I did a journal entry! I'd thought I was getting into the habit of writing regularly, but then, things are still whirling around a bit too fast for me. That's in more ways than one, since I managed to catch the bad head cold that's been going around. Two bouts, a week apart, of worshipping the porcelain god for a morning because of dizziness. It could be worse, so I won't complain about missing two days of work, then spending most of 4 days off total being sick...

Anyway, triage as usual.

Had a bad argument with a friend. Hopefully, it's patched up. Time will tell.

Work is work is work is work.... Not what I want to be doing, but what I have to do.

Freezing temps for more than a week didn't help my cold or encourage me to get much done when I was home.

Did my christmas cards, such as they are... Got the few gifts I needed to mail, mailed.

Had the Sunday Sew Christmas potluck at an alternate location, but it went well. The food was great and everyone came. So, no foul there. Got pictures, but didn't get the usual group shot. Oh well....

Discovered that our cat Flower loves to munch on Christmas lights. She's chomped several... Haven't noticed any sparkles in her poop, though...

Going to try to design or do some quilting. Miss it terribly and the only bit I've been around is from teaching my nephew how to quilt. He's making a great Christmas present for his dad and stepmom. I can't wait to see their faces when they open it!

Dungeons and Dragons is fun, if the group can get together and get going on the adventures. Time gets eaten up with adding new players, which happens too often... But it's hard to get the same people to show up regularly, so what can be done?
